Disappointed - it came with a 2 pin plug!

I bought the kettle to match my lovely toaster, which I was absolutely delighted with. HOWEVER the kettle came from Germany (not a problem in itself) with a continental two pin integrated plug. Had to make a decision and took the risk of changing the plug to 3 pin - the only way to check it worked, which fortunately it did. I really feel if goods are imported they should conform to UK standard OR at the very least it should be explained that they will come with a 2 pin plug. Feel let down by lack of transparency
