Very stylish

A very modern and stylish kettle that works well. It boils rapidly, isn't too noisy and turns itself off immediately it starts to boil and so does not leave steam floating about the kitchen. I bought the toaster to go with it which I would also give 5 stars. As it is still relatively new, I can't comment on the long term reliability, but it comes with a 2 year warranty. I like the touch controls instead of a switch, but I presume it would make it difficult for anyone with poor eyesight or blind. At 1.2kg for the empty kettle, it is a fraction heavier than most "standard" stainless kettles, but as a pensioner I still find it easy to handle. It is well balanced when pouring and pours easily without any leaks around the lid. I bought the kettle for £40 from a Uk supplier, whereas Amazon wanted £112 for an imported one - unusual for Amazon to be that far out!
