Terrible product, even worse customer service!!

After 2 hours or using this brand new iron, lime scale started pouring out. This has ruined my lounge carpet and my duvet. I immediately contacted Spectrum Brands (parent company) and sent back the iron. Their engineer admitted it was terrible and should never have been sold, but Spectrum brands refuse to provide adequate compensation due to 'limited evidence'. Terrible customer service, avoid this product and indeed the Russell Hobbs Brand!!!

This Russell Hobbs Steam Generator is absolutely rubbish. Thats all I have to say. I have used the Philips GC7420 Pressurised Steam Generator Iron, 800 Watt before and its magic. Pity I gave it to a friend and got this. Im buying another Philips after this dissapointing experience with the Russell Hobbs.
